How Convicta handles your data

Convicta is small, and still in a closed beta. This page says plainly what we store, where it lives, and how to get it deleted — no legal boilerplate. If anything here is unclear, write to kontakt@convicta.dk.

Who's responsible

Convicta is currently run by one person, not yet a registered company. For anything about your data — a question, a correction, or a deletion request — write to kontakt@convicta.dk. That's also the only contact address for the product itself, so you don't need a second one for privacy.

What we store, and why

Your account

Email and password (or your Google account, if you sign in that way), so you can log in.

Saved stocks and your knowledge profile

The tickers you bookmark under "Your picks", and the short profile fields (industry, products, one written observation) you fill in on your Profile page, so the analysis can be tailored to you. Both are removed automatically if your account is deleted.

What you write

What you type into the text field is sent to a language model provider so Convicta Core can assess it against companies. It is not saved to your account. Your last few texts are kept only in your own browser's storage, never on our servers, so they won't follow you to a new device. Analysis results (which companies matched, and their scores) are cached on our servers for a limited time — currently up to 30 days — so re-running the same text doesn't need a new call; that cache does not store your full text.

Feedback, the waitlist and invites

If you send feedback, we keep your message, your email if you gave one, and a screenshot if you attached one (kept privately — never on a public link). If you join the waitlist, we keep your name, email and what you told us you'd use Convicta for. During the closed beta we also keep a record of which invite code was used, and which email was approved to get in.

Where it lives

The website runs on Vercel. Accounts, the database tables above, and any feedback screenshots are handled by Supabase. Analysis results and short-term rate limits are cached in Upstash. What you write goes to a language model provider only at the moment you run an analysis, to be assessed — not to any of the others.

Cookies

We only set the cookies the site needs to work: one to keep you logged in, and — only if you follow an invite link — a short-lived one that carries the invite code to the sign-up page. None of them are used for advertising or tracking, and we don't use any third-party analytics or ad scripts.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, and we don't use it for marketing or advertising. The only reason what you write leaves our servers is to be assessed by the language model provider that powers Convicta Core.

Getting your data deleted

Write to kontakt@convicta.dk and ask. This is a manual process today — there's no self-service delete button yet — so tell us which email address to remove. Deleting your account removes your saved stocks and knowledge profile automatically; we'll clear feedback, waitlist and invite records tied to that email by hand.
